Welcome to Montess (UK), For Over four Decades Montess have been providing an alternative brand of disco roadshows. Affordable, Sophisticated and unusual. To the UK from our base here in Pembrokeshire Wales

For the last Four Decades, we have been providing roadshows for every occasion, from Anniversaries to Weddings, Corporate and through our Foundation, Charities.

What makes Montess Roadshows stand out from the crowd? Apart from our continued longevity.

Here at Montess we specialise in the unusual. Our Disco Roadshows are not quite the “run of the mill”. We specialise in bespoke events, anything from a full-on AC-DC recreative concert or a Classical music symphony, that has been our forte for since 1980. And as all of our team, are music aficionados, they live and breathe music and can create a perfect alternative style of entertainment for your occasion.

Montess prides ourselves on not using pre-made set lists, the music at every event, reservation and function from small gatherings to corporate and charity galas, is bespoke. If you and your guest request it, then we’ll mix it in.

When you contact us with an enquiry, we'll ensure a total understanding of your requirements. We pride ourselves on attention to detail, from the initial enquiry stage, right through to the end of your reservation.

Your telephone call will be answered by an experienced and knowledgeable member of our team, once reserved, they will have all of the details about your function readily available. Emails are answered promptly and professionally.

We are not an agency, so you won't pay any agency fees. The DJ that plays at your function will always be Montess DJ. We never pass your reservation onto someone else. Every reservation is covered by a contract and we’ve never cancel once booked in favour of someone else.

We are fully insured and supply only the latest and P.A.T tested equipment and sound systems, responsibly sourced music and our MCDJs have access to DJ music Pools, so no reasonable request is denied. Each set is bespoke to the function and venue.

Weddings

Since 1980. Montess Roadshows have officiated and entertained at over fifteen hundred wedding receptions, ranging from traditional to cultural.

For more than four Decades, Montess have been dedicated to the world of entertainment. Providing a unique and personal service to our clients. Creating unforgettable, thrilling and innovated wedding receptions.

Whether it’s an intermate gathering or a grand celebration, you can trust in our expertise and unwavering dedication to ensure that your reception is delivers a truly unforgettable experience for you and your guests.

Over the decades, for our esteemed couples, we have transformed venues into ball rooms, inspired countless themed weddings from ABBA to Star Wars. Officiated at multiday cultural weddings, including Indian and Pagan Festivals.

So, what do we do differently? We know that no two receptions are the same, firstly all of our MCDJs and floor staff will be suited. Yes. We did say Floor staff. Apart from a MCDJ, we supply one or two Floor staff who are on hand to help the reception flow. The Music is tailored for the couple; however, we don’t use premade playlists, the set up is designed to be effective but discrete as not to ruin those all-important photos.

Music. Everyone’s tastes are different. No two people like exactly the same music. We can supply both mixed Traditional and Digital or Digital only Roadshows, that carry over fifty-thousand tracks of ultra-high-quality music. In addition, our MCDJs have access to dedicated industry standard music pools. We play all reasonable requests, and never refuse anything alternative or unusual.

Our dedicated teams work closely with the couples, to ensure that everything is right. We know there is no second chance, no rewind and the quote “you are only as good as your last booking” is very true. Every booking is covered by a reservation contract. And over the last four decades, we’ve only had to cancel twenty reservations due to unforeseen circumstances.

The first question on every-one’s list when booking a wedding DJ. Is How Much? All our quotes are bespoke. Unique to the event and to the couples wishes. Studio

Our DJs have access to tools to be able to produce media friendly music content for all social platforms including YouTube and Twitter (X). Over the years we have created a database of media “friendly” Music. And can advise on which tracks are likely to be copyright struck and where. Our own music collection is well over 800 gigs, covering every genre.

We also upload content regularly to M.M.G (Presents) Our YouTube Channel. And we also have mixes hosted on Soundcloud

Freelance.

With the onslaught of Covid, in 2020, we added a business portfolio. With our business partner Liverpool Accountant, Missieki Martin Ltd. We offer a wide range of accounting and Bookkeeping services. Please contact us for more information.

Contact and FAQs

Q: Are your reservations confirmed with a written or email confirmation?

Yes. In fact, we were one of the very first to introduce written confirmations and terms and conditions. All backed by our promise of never to cancel in favour of another booking.

Q: How and when do I pay?

Cash, BACS, Paypal (subject to extra fees.) All payments are to be made in advance and cleared prior to or on the day and in advance of the performance.

Q: Can I hire you for our school prom?

Yes, whilst we regrettably due to, over the last 40 years, having preformed at a very high number of unruly and unsupervised private children parties, in which staff were abused and equipment was damaged. We decided in 2010 not to take private under 18s bookings. However, we do still take reservations from Schools, Youth Clubs and Groups. All of our team are fully DBS Checked.

Q: Can I hire you for my child's birthday?

Sorry, but no. Whilst we understand that it is always the minority that spoil it for the majority. We decided in 2010, to remove children parties from our portfolio. Please see the above answer.

Q: Are you insured?

We carry full liabilities insurance. All our equipment is fully P.A.T Compliant and Tested.

Q: How long do you need to set up.

That depends entirely on the event, anything from a day to a few hours, A Typical Roadshow we’d like at least two hours to set up and carry out sound checks. However, our experienced team will advise when booking. Breaking down is normally a one to two hours again depending on the event and size of the set

Q: How big is your Roadshow? What do I get for my Money?

Our expertise. We design each of our roadshows around the venue and more importantly the event. Each Roadshow will be staffed by a MCDJ and at least one member of our floor team. Enough equipment to carry out the event, over 50,000 tracks of responsibly sourced music, in addition to access to specialist music pools. Prompt and reliable service.

Q: What is the booking procedure?

Once we have mutually agreed on the reservation, we will require a 25% deposit, that is subjected to our terms and conditions. We shall then email a copy of the schedule, terms and conditions. Our team shall then be on hand to assist with the event planning or coordination.
